ENSC 427: COMMUNICATION NETWORKS

Assignment #4:

Read:
  • A. Leon-Garcia and I. Widjaja: Chapter 3: Digital Transmission Fundamentals

  • Continue working on the ns-2 Tutorials:
        IX. Running Wireless Simulations in ns
        X. Creating Wired-cum-Wireless and MobileIP Simulations
        XI. Generating traffic-connection and node-movement files for large wireless scenarios

  • Submit printouts illustrating each step of the ns-2 tutorial.
    Include time-stamps on the printouts.
    Briefly describe the main steps.
    Limit your submission to ten pages (excluding the cover page).

  • Include the cover page. It should only include course title (ENSC 427: COMMUNICATION NETWORKS), term (Spring 2017), assignment number, your full name (last name, first name), your SFU ID, and your SFU email address. This page should not be counted in the required page limit.
  • Project proposal(s) are due February 5, 2017 (midnight: 11:59 PM + 1 minute).
    Submit project proposal(s) on Canvas.
         Include: propsed project title(s), the team number, full names (last name, first name), and email addresses of team members.
  • Browse through past projects.

    Note: Past ENSC 833, ENSC 835, ENSC 894, and ENSC 895 projects have been submitted by graduate students.
    ENSC 427 students will not be expected to deliver the same scope and level of difficulty for their projects.
